What does it consist of?
The tour will start with a visit to the Interpretation Center of the Roman Theater, then enter inside, walking through the grandstand, we will be transported to the Roman Malaga from the time of Augustus. We will leave the theater to access the Alcazaba, located right next to it.
Once there, we will go up inside its walls, passing through the Puerta del Arco de Cristo, formerly used as a street chapel. At the top, we will see different rooms such as the Patio de armas used at the time of the Catholic Monarchs or the Quarters of Granada, famous for their incomparable views. This impressive palace – fortress, whose Arabic name means “citadel”, has a current area of 15,000 square meters does not even reach half the size it had in its heyday.
